I forgot to ask what's wrong with your headlights? They look fine in your pictures... Planning on DIY Black headlight housing?

Lol another person asked me the same thing... it looks fine on the pictures (under the sunlight), but my passenger side headlight in real life has my peepee's color :O They are REALLY yellow (not foggy so it can't be fixed) and they are scratched many times in the middle... I have no idea what the previous owner did with THAT headlight.

I will try to take another picture so you can see lol.

actually i cleaned up the headlights on a 1988 truck that were way past foggy and yellow, i used the 3m kit and it worked well. i believe as long as the yellow haze is not on the inside of the lamp (from moisture getting inside it) then you should be able to take a little off the surface and clean it up. i have been wrong before, if you dont wanna spend any money based on what im saying then just use toothpaste and clean rag and try to polish a small area for like 5 minutes, if starts to clean up, then go buy the kit from the store, im sure its much faster and easier with the kit than the toothpaste.

Thank you for your suggestion but I swear it is not normal usage fog/yellow. I swear I have tried everything and my driver side headlight is now perfect but the passenger one is still stinky yellow. Like it is yellow everywhere on the headlight... I'll take a pic and you'll see:)

If you are talking about this one, which is the cheapest I found (I'm constantly looking btw): http://cgi.ebay.ca/Toyota-Solara-Headli ... ccessories

With the 30$ shipping cost it would cost me 100$ for one used headlight... I'm not sure if it's worth it...

Hey mig0s, when you do finally get a new light let me know.
I would like to have your current one. Mine has busted mounts,
but I figure I can use my good lens and just swap them out.
If you don't mind shipping to the US.
Trust me, I'm a technician.

Yeah sure I could but the lens is scratched and yellow from the interior. The body is good though! Where did you get the lens btw?

Cool. I was saying I could take apart my light that I'm using now and swap lenses.
That way I use my good lens and your good housing.
Trust me, I'm a technician.
