October 3, 2009

Ok i went to the salvage yard the other day, and say 2 older ES300 that sportin' twin piston calipers in the front.

If you're interested, please PM me and post up on here.
The price for them shipped will be $60.00 + 3% for paypal fees.
That's half the price of 1 from AutoZone or Advance Auto Parts for 2 if you buy from me.
I would suggest rebuildin' the calipers also.

I can find out.
I'm waitin' for Frank to purchase the first pair, or either "SpeedySolara" to get them, then i can find out how much shipped to Denmark for you.

The price for the rebuild kits from Advance Auto Parts is $22.00, if you would like that too, let me know, and just add that to the total cost and i can purchase the rebuild kit for you, and send it wit the calipers.

Dual pistons compared to one large one (oem).

I feel the dual piston setup is a big upgrade from the OEM calipers.

if u combine this with the big brake bracket, itll be that much better.

Is the brackets included or can I use my stock Camry V6 brackets with the twin piston calipers ?

Cool. Ok.

Right now Frank, then you, then "corlon" are in line.

The list:
1. jetbtkng
2. carstenmeiner
3. corlon

I'll be pullin' the caliper tomorrow, for you and Frank.
And hopefully buyin' the rebuild kits from Advance Auto Parts, cause last time they were on back order.....
Will check on the rebuild kits for you.

Here's the stock brake single piston picture:

You can use the OEM banjo that will be on the hose that comes wit the caliper, but i suggest gettin' some SS brake lines.

Umm yeah long time guys... LOL

I'm down for a set, but I want them with brackets and all, rebuilt n such.... Lemme know what my cost would be.... I would need to look into carbon metallic pads too... I see that Gabe's machinist is back in action with Supra TT rotors n such.... I might have to give him a call ;)

Oh yeah.... my 'lara is still running.... I just changed jobs recently, so I have been a bad owner lately... LMAO, hopefully a brake upgrade up front will be a good enough peace offering to my car.
Geeks get it done, while Nerds whimper and call for mommie.

Cool.
I'll be lookin' when i go Wednesday to pull the calipers and takin' them home.
Well i tried the gettin' the calipers for some people, and rebuild them, but i would get busy and no time to rebuild the calipers for the people.
It's not hard to rebuild the calipers.
Only hard parts is findin' time for my friend to press out the caliper pistons.

I can pull the calipers for you, but rebuildin' the calipers aren't hard, trust me.

Yes they are.

Everythin' you get in the box is:

1. Twin piston calipers and brake pad brackets.
2. Wire clips for the brake pads.
3. OEM brake hose wit the bolt banjo.
4. Metal clips for the brake pads.

To answer your second question now.
You can look at the pictures of my OEM calipers and twin piston calipers.
The twin piston caliper pads are larger anout a 1/4.
