Is everything still working out OK with that swapped tranny that you did? It must have been like getting a whole new car!

everything is running like a champ.. nothing is wrong... but then again... if you want something done right, do it yourself.. I did everything that I wanted while in the process of the swap... no issues.. runs great

NOOOO Manuel is gay hahah. Traffic is painful and for a stock clutch, it sure is hard and painful to clutch in. I swear my left legs more muscular then my right one haha.

I love the manual in my Solara. With the upgraded clutch, flywheel, lsd, and short shifter, it's so much more fun to take advantage of the extra power I have.

Ferreal, I've onyl had a manual for about 3 months now, if I drive an auto I always hit the brake with my left foot and think to myself *something doesn't feel right*. I drove my moms minivan the other day while the Solara was getting some minor body damage fixed, and the shifter for P R N D L2 L1 is by the steering column on siennas, and I was turning out of a parking lot and tried to shift the air over the center console because the auto held the gear for what in my brains opinion was too long, and because driving stick becomes so second nature I coulnd't help myself.

On another note, I'm toying with the idea of offering this guy 500 shipped on this thing. However I doubt I will as I don't have space for it, or the means (money) by which to screw around with it. Anyone seriously considering a manual swap at all should offer this guy somethign reasonable, I'll bet he'll unload it and you'll get a great deal on a nice tranny. MT solara has 24 whp higher than auto and better gearing IMO. Considering you could probably pick this thing up for cheaper than a CP-E intake, and then source parts and swap it out for a decent overall price, I would do it.
