Some of you already know me via my posts. Some of you know me better thru previous trades, sales which included trd kit, trd valances, wheels, rims, etc. Any how, i just wanted to see what would be your PAYING price (say if you are in the market) for a Gen 2 solara lip kit. By this i mean the one that comes STANDARD on Solara SE sports Coupe (yeah the OEM body kit). I'm not selling AT THIS TIME, but if a price is right i might be pursuaded. Its original and not a replica and its comes painted in Absolute Red. (milage when removed from the car was 3K miles)..so practically NOTHING wrong with it. I don't have screws and you'll need to buy your own 3m tape. Also, it will be shipped in two boxes (so guage shipping accordingly)..the rear is unlike the previous gen where all could fit in a small box (this one requires an oversized box just for the rear). Keeping all this in mind, do let me know your all suggestions/opitions/comments. Thanks
- Jai

Just curious...Are you putting the JT body kit on your ride or perhaps another bodykit from somewhere else? :D

another quick question, when you say "lip kit" do you mean the entire kit? (all six? pieces?)

lip kit is a term that i refer to (and many others as well). I think some of you call it a bodykit. Since there isn't a whole bumper replacement, your just adding lip/valances to existing body panels.
The kit includes:
* Two front valances/lips.
* Two side skirts
* one side rear valance
* one side rear center w/ ajoined center-rear valance (its all one piece). I'm sure gen 2 guys can attest to the fact that the rear is actually two pieces (unlike the three piece that was on the Gen 1 trd lip kits).
Before questions come up on the rear..it looks like this :roll:

okay, that's what I thought. Just wasn't sure if "lip kit" included the side skirts, since I always thought that "lip" refered to the front and/or back pieces...

I'd be interested in it, but I'm pretty sure I'd be outbid (still making payments!) And I'm sure it'd be much more of an attraction for someone that already has the red car.

Thanks for the free bumb's( :drinking: ). Keep in mind that the dealerships are asking close to 2800 for these kits (Complete kits). Someone on the forums found a contact who will sell them primered kits, but their pricing is still 1400. SO if your Absolute Red Solara and you need a kit, this is your opportunity to buy it for less. For $175 I will offer painting this kit to factory colors. Ie. $1375 PAINTED (yes and that does include FLEXI paint additive - just get a quote for the painting and you know your getting a good deal).
