Selling my 2000 solara se with 119k it has some transmission issues not sure whats wrong with it may need a rebuild but with a little money car can be perfect once again car also needs a new front bumper the current one is primered and cracked at the bottom (perfect for oem bumper with trd kit) I am asking $3,500 or trade for your stock solara or car. I have lots of money invested into this car and want to see it go to a fellow SG who will keep it alive.

What's wrong with the trans? Does it grind into gears?

I dont know how to work the forum so I just added my craigslist ad which has a list of mods and pictures. The transmission locked up one day im not sure if it was just a fluke or what but it drives again im just scared to retag it and it leave me stranded again

We have had the car pulled apart all week and cant find any problems. What there thinking the problem was that the transmission was completely dry of gear oil so we filled her up and now were checking the seals cause it seems there's a leak and if that fixes the problem solara will be back up and running as soon as possible. I also did the DIY black housing headlights and they turned out great. I will keep everyone updated if the problem is that small we will be sanding and painting within the winter months andIi will be selling it as a completed project. As for now cars still for sale and im still entertaining offers.
