Hi, honestly I do not think you'll get what you're asking for, especially with 155k miles. The best option for you is to part it out here, put everything stock back and sell it for 2.5-3k.

Yeah you're right...I based the price off of a Solara I saw on Autotrader that was modded similarly with the same amount of miles and i believe they sold there but here that probably wouldn't happen.

Adjusted price is $4000 as is, don't have to much time to Part it out unless i get good offers on the parts.

I'll vouch for Rimal, a true SoCal SolaraGuy OG. I'd buy the kit for sure if I wasn't flat broke. Modding the Z and keeping the Solara isn't cheap!

Hey Whattsup buddy! Thanks for the kind words!

I know what you mean, i dumped my entire restoration budget on my 240z half way through my project and know it's just been sitting for almost the whole year!

still have another $1k to spend till i can get it going but now i'm getting a BMW 550i so i think my Z will be sitting around even longer. on the other hand, that 360hp from the 550i is going to be damn FUN!!

Did you scratch up the front lips before or after installing lowering springs?

Curious b/c I'm planning on replacing my springs & struts before installing the front lips in order to prevent that kind of damage.

^Scratching up the lips is inevitable, even at stock height.

yeah it's hard to avoid scratching but more of that damage was done when i had my stock wheels on the car and lowered.

now with the rims, i rarely scratch.
