You mentioned Monterey so I checked Autotrader and saw it at the Mercedes dealership.

LOL..that's what I figured. I actually wanted to keep it *mum*, since I was concerned someone else might jump on it at the price I indicated. It was a STEAL @16K and I had been looking at this car for some time. Check out my most on the *Garage Talk* thread:

No worries about the Cobalt I was thinking of snatching up the Camry. I live in Citrus Heights about 3 hours from Monterey. I'm always looking for a reason to go to the aquarium.

YES. Any deal has to be today. The only way it could *happen* for anyone here is for them to MEET ME in Monterey at the dealership tomorrow with $4400 in CASH. I'll throw in all the goodies (Bushings, etc) in NO CHARGE! You could also use Paypal to deposit the funds to hold the car, but it will be NONREFUNABLE.
Call me fellas!

Dang RON...
I really hate to see that Camry go. :(
Maybe the new owner will find his/her way to SG.

You should leave the web site addy with the dealership for whoever buys it next. :D

Yeah, the new owner..if the price is right...is going to be one lucky SOB! Too bad no one here could take her. Had a couple *flake outs* which really had me wondering why they even bothered in the first place. You can't build (let alone find) a car like this for under $5K. Oh well.
The replacement, a 09 Cobalt SS Turbo, is going to be a GREAT replacement. I'm looking forward to driving it back from Monterey to LA :D
This is my post here (Garage Talk) on the Cobalt if you're curious:

I think we will be seeing your Camry again.
If he/she ever signs up here with your old Camry, everyones gona be like "Thats RON's Cam." :D

So is the dealer you traded it into, are they gona re-sell it?
...or sell it off to someother dealer?
Its cool if you dont know.
Im just curious how much they are gona jack up the price cuz of all the extras you installed. 8)

Hard to say what they're gonna do with it. Most likely it will be traded to another dealer who deals in cars like this..or lower priced cars. I'm giving them the STOCK parts (stock manifold, intake, fuel lines) too..so who knows what they'll do.
