this was in my car (mounted in the trunk) for 9 months, not abused and never really touched by anything. the plastic cover thing is still on it.

i payed $99.99 + tax for it brand new a year and a half ago. i prefer so cal pick up but i will ship to wherever as the buyer will pay for and decide what type of shipping they want. it came with a four year warranty from best buy so only if youre near me in so cal just let me know if anything goes wrong with it and ill let you use my receipt to take it to a best buy. the warranty has a little over 2 years left on it.

not worth it. and i thought best buy doesnt have warranties for their caps.

if you have the bestbuy extended warrenty then take it back and get a new one remember caps can not stay off charge for a long period of time or it will be useless

i bought my amp and sub there as well, and i was under the impression that everything is under warranty.. how do i find out for sure?

my good friend who works at curcuit city (car audio installation) told me that its still charged and ready to install.. the only reason we didnt put it in my car (just installed my system 2 weeks ago) is because it would make for a tight fit mounting it with the amp so we decided not to install it. how long until a cap goes bad? can i check somehow?
