 Hi! evry1!!

I have been reading (searching) for a while about headlights bulbs; and i'm getting a very bit confused. I have a 2004 SE, and thinking on changing my headlights bulbs for HID or Xenon or Brightstar (whatever). To solve or clear my mind what is the best looking (whiter, lexus/mercedes-like) bulb that I can put on my new ride? I've read about sylvania brightstar and xenon conversion kit; what is the difference, which is better? Help me please!!
:-?

Do HIDs or Xenons have very short lives? I want to get some but I heard they tend to burn out quicker.

Many Xenon bulbs are poorly made and will therefore have a shorter life. I don't believe anyone has been able to find any HID kits for the 04. I don't believe they make the Silverstars, either. If you want to look for them the bulb is H11.

You need an H11 for the headlights and you can use a 9005 for the foglights...even though they say h10! The h11 took me forever to find since they're pretty much brand new, but the 9005's should be at your local auto shop...I think the 9005's are also called HB3's. The Solara looks nice with the blue!

For about $16-$25 you can pick up Xenon bulbs which will give you the whitest/brightest you can get without going to H.I.D. Look for a temperature rating of at least 4000K (kelvin), preferably 4300k. Brand names might last a little longer, but all should last as long as regular halogen.

Had 4300k "Krypton" series on my '91 Accord and they were great!

All i have is crappy photos on my cell phone.

Thec ompany came recommended by a friend with an A4 who has a complete package from them including the h11. I placed an order, product arrived 4 days later. I threw the headlights in first and the difference was night and day, highly recommend them.

Guys

I'll be ordering them today (or tomorrow) for the headlights. Is't difficult to install? do I have to modify anything? I was thinking of HID again, are they difficult to install, what is the difference?
