hey guys whats up, I want to know if getting a new camshaft for my engine is worth it, I talked with a representative from crower cams and he was telling me that he could custom fab a cam shaft for me, he told me that he could make a oem performance based camshaft for my vehicle, meaning that the camshaft will be made for performance but will have oem specifications so I can just take out my old cam and pop in the new cam(not to make it sound like it easy or anything)

Your opinions are greatly appreciated, thanks and happy friday :D

How productive was your conversation with Crower:
Do you know how many cams you have?
Does he?

Your point is that you're anxious to replace the cam - but you're not sure why?

Were you going to tell us which engine you have?

a performance cam on a stock engine will improve horse power, but if u do head work, intake, exhaust, ignition, then u will get the full benefit of performance cams............... :drinking:

so today was my dyno pull and dyno tune day, it was definetely a fun experience, we ran into a few snags but got the job done, we did about 5 pulls and tuned the car for a good 2 hours, the other 3 were spent fixing software issues with the tuneable box of the cpe mafci

in total we spent about 5 hours, but it was fun, i was not allowed to take footage due to safety issues, he did let me watch from the wating room though, i didnt get to put m springs on due to so much time time tuning, but my eibach springs will be put on this morning(easter morning)

i got decent numbers, they say that mustang dyno's are more accurate than dynojet, my numbers were not as good as i thought they would be, the mustang dyno really puts ego's to rest, i have a spread sheet here of the final result, i was running rich at about 11.8 but they leaned it out to about 14, they also told me that i can only use 93 octane from now on

they managed to add about 15 whp and now my horsepower and torque are pretty much identical, i plan on getting headers soon and will keep you guys updated, i know jp exhaust has soom but the 1500 dollar price tag is not looking to good right now and i do not know anyone around my area who can custom fab headers for me

i will try to get pics of my ride once it is lowered, also, the guys who tuned my car are covinced that a supercharger exists for the gen2, i told them that such a supercharger is nothing but a fairytale, but they are truly convinced that there is one, they told me to check the trd website, i checked, no supercharger.....but anyway, they told me when i decide to go a superchager route to call them, i told them when one exists i will be there waiting with a smile on my face, thanks for listening.....later

just to confirm, there is no supercharger for the gen2 is there?

so here are the dyno numbers
