Hi guys/gals I'm in need of a little advice.
I recently installed an O2 sim to clear out a P0420 I was getting from having the JPP headers. I ran the car for an hour yesterday and three hours today with no problems until ten minutes ago. I got three CEL's - P0156 (heated O2 sensor circuit malfunction), P0171 and P0174 (lean left and right banks). I also intalled an URD MAF sensor calibrator, not yet tuned.

The car seems to idle smoothly and accellerates fine. My question is, is it possible for a fuel cut to cause these CELs while having the car downshift when slowing to a stop? Is this a possible culprit besides the dirty maf sensor, vacuum leak...etc. or would this mostly be due to the calibrator not being tuned yet?

Thanks for any help.

Also, if the car appears to be functioning the same as before I installed these, would a short drive to the shop be relatively safe on the engine?

Thanks for the input. I was a little concerned, but not freaked out. I'm going to just do a little in-town driving till I can make it up to the dyno to get my AFR checked.

Nope, not tuned yet. The box had a pre-tuned map off of a stock Solara, so I figure that's what triggered the cel.

Thanks again!
