Hey guys, it's time for me to upgrade my battery. I'm thinking about getting an Optima Red Top, but am not sure how I am going to boost the battery up to OEM height. Does Optima provide you with brackets? Where's a good place to get Optima batteries? I was thinking Costco. Thanks.

you can try a piece of foam. But why would you want to prop it up to stock height? oh and those optima batteries are 35lbs. plus there made out of a gel so there is no liquid in these things. i use to have a redtop in my celica and i didnt use brackets to hold it down. the damn thing was heavy enough as it is.

Samsclub had the best price when I checked. A Costco might be similiar.

You can contact Optima and they will send you the height adapter tray @ no charge....they did for me a few years ago for my yellow top.
