What do you guys think about heads up displays?

I borrowed a friends Park Avenue while getting a remote start in my car and the Buick had the speed projected on the windshield. I know it's kind of 80's gimick but thought it was pretty cool and kind of enjoyed using it.

Defi makes a few units I think could be used.

I know it comes down to personal taste, just looking for opinions.

I've valeted a few GM cars that have them, e.g. Corvette, and GMC Acadia. I like it. They are pretty configurable, you can choose what it displays, and you can adjust the height so that it is leveled with your eyes.

I didn't know they sell aftermarket HUD for cars.

I had one on my old 240sx, I thought they were the sh!t haha. Defi did used to make one and I remember a guy mounted it on his steering column.

I think it would be a sweet mod it's just finding a place to make it look factory would be kind of tough.

I'd admit it's pretty cool in an F16 fighter jet type of way but for the price I'd rather just glance down two degrees further at the speedometer. Heck, I'm always too busy hollering at all the hot MILF's on the sidewalk anywayz to worry about what's in front of me. :D
