LED parking lights problem

just bought a set of LED turn signals:

got them installed. turned them on... the "tailight" or "parking light" fuse blew (10A)... but the turn signals still worked fine, just not the parking lights...so i stepped up the amps and when to 15A same thing... blew... then i tried 25A blew again... so i dont know whats causing it to burn the fuses every time. any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you have a short somewhere! Don't up the amperage on the fuses. If anything reduce the amperage once you get it working right.

but when i put back the regular filament bulbs they work fine. i love the way they look. i want them to work correctly so bad, cause they match my HIDs perfectly... hmmmm...

Ok here is what you do. Make sure you install all the the normal bulbs first. Test the system. Pick one corner and test each LED bulb one at a time to find out which one(s) have a short in them. Then send the broken one(s) back for new ones.

ahhhhh i get what you are saying now... theres a short within the LED itself... okay i will do that in the mornin. thanks! i will report back here after i do so...

i have that thing on my car too!!
looks really sharp and cool
i installed on my tail light
a little concern, i think it's not bright enough when i hit the brake.
and i have exactly same problem when i try to install it at front parking/signal light
the fuse blew, no matter which amp of fuse i put.
so, i guess u have to buy the resistance from that web as well..
i donno, i'm ganna try that later
since, i'm having alittle issue with the seller

man i had the reverse problem awhile back. parking lights would work but not the turns. turned out to be the relay switch

Ok, so let me see if i understand you here. You got single element LED bulbs for the rear blinker lights. You put them in, and the blinkers work right, but when you turn on your running lights, they blow? The only place that these two systems are connected (besides the ground of the car) is the front signal bulbs on the ground side of the bulb). So if your poping the fuse, chances are your getting some sort of a back feed through those bulbs. the solution i can think of would be to meter the blinker wire off of the front bulbs to see if your getting a voltage of some sort. if you are, then wire soem diodes into the wiring there and it should fix it. The other fix might be to simply get the toyota LED flasher relay. I myself upgraded to the 07 LED tail lights, and using a trailer adapter, i am blinking the LEDs off of the blinker wires in the trunk and they don't blow at all (even without the load resistors installed)

okay, sorry havent checked back in a while... so i tried what "adam8080" with a different LED and see if the LED had a short... i did that... things happend differently now. the parking lights are on now, everything seems fine untill i turn on the turn signals. now it pops that fuse... WTH? im freaking confused...

s-man: i have the 07 tail lights and all those things works fine... untill i plug in that LED... and try to use it. i have the load resistors hook up in the back with the tail lights like you said.

can you explain more about the "toyota flasher relay" what do i do with that?

superbrightLEDS as well as the company you got yours from, sells a specialy designed flasher that is designed for LEDS. As far as i can tell, it's just a solid state flasher that doesn't hyperblink for having bulbs missing. I don't think this will fix your situation persay, but i after studying the wiring diagrams, the only thing i can think of would be that your getting some sort of a ground loop. You might want to take this up with the people on the HIDplanet forums over in the LED section, the guy AZDave is a god with this sort of stuff.
