New rims and ICE

Postby SolaraSilver » Fri May 25, 2007 4:30 pm

Just picked up some G35 6 spokes off the local craigslist with good tires on them. Sanded, primed and painted with duplicolor wheel coating (graphite). Pulled the calipers and painted red when I put in my new ceramic pads and brake fluid. In dash I added a Caliber 650dvd and navigation unit. car just spent the day at the local dealer getting tint and TSBs taken care of. For sure turned heads as I pulled in. Spent 1/2 hour talking with the service guys about my mods. I'm thinking about modifying my exhaust a little more. I've got the magnaflow in, but I'd like it a touch deeper without sounding like a honda. Any suggestions?

that's not looking too bad actually.
where many hate, few will love,
But for those who love,
they'll see what it's like to live.

Yeah... I'd like to see that car in some larger views...

Rims are looking interesting on that, but hard to really tell.

Rims are wrapped with bridgestone turanza 215/55R17s. I like these as all around tires since most my driving is just short trips down the freeway, and its freakin dry here.

Yeah here's a suggestion for your exhaust - jump on this Group Buy for the headers/Y-pipe!

Those look like the G35 Touring Sedan 6-spokes. Look pretty good painted with a matte graphite like that - let us know how that paint holds up for you.

Nice work.
