am considering kumho asx 235/50/17 to replace stock 215/55/17 on SE v6. anyone have any input? i read the SE may not have same clearance as SLE and i have also lowered with trd springs....

Tire Size Comparison
Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
215/55-17 4.7in 13.2in 26.3in 82.7in 767 0.0%
235/50-17 4.6in 13.1in 26.3in 82.5in 768 -0.2%

i guess my only concern is width clearance....

No problem. I ran 235/50R17 Firestones on my Gen2 SE Sport V6 using TRD springs. No issues at all with clearances.
