What is hubcentric size...since search function is focked-up

I'm searching hub-centric ring specs.
I think that I need outside diameter and inside diameter, isn't it ?
I think also that outside diameter depends of the wheel itself...but inside diameter should be the same for all Gen 2. The problem is that I lose 1 hub-centric ring by sending back my "damaged" wheel. I shouldn't send it back...

What is the main purpose of an hub-centric ring aside helping on the installation ??

EDITED:
I just read this from 1010tires.com

Hub centric rings are manufactured so that when they are installed on a vehicle, the wheels are located directly off of the centre flange of the brake drum or rotor. This is done to insure that the outer beads of the wheel are concentric with the wheel bearings. The result is a much truer, better balanced tire/wheel assembly. This is very important with modern high tech suspension systems.

Thanks for any good feed-back ! :)

Why do you lose the ring? Unless it's welded/melted on, it should easily slide off once you remove the wheel. If you do need a replacement, look at the other rings, and it should give you the measurements.

The ring acts as an adapter... the size of the opening on the wheel is different than the hub on your car. The ring adapts the "universal" wheel to your car. Prevents vibrations at higher speeds.
