after my tein drop to my gen 2 i started noticing a week later that my steering started making this weird noise. Creeeking as i spun my wheel...not the full 360 spin but on and off creeking...
if anyone of you has experienced this please tell me ..im taking it into the dealer tomarrow to see what is the problem..
if anyone knows of this let me know..

I have the same creaking.
There should be a TSB for this noise, look it up before you go to the dealer so you can tell them about it. It has something to do with the steering assembly.

they are gonna do a free inspection cuz i paid em already like 3 months ago and the guy said come back anytime when something is wrong..he said u might need lube or something on a steering joint or....duno ill find out and tell u asap ..

i paid all labor and springs 300 dollars and i own a i4 solara gen 2
..well we find out tomarrow :)

wait you got all that done at your toyota dealer?
if not...the dealer might give you problems for having aftermarket springs that may void warranty

umm, i got it done at a shop
however....
he said if it has nothing to do with the drop we can take care of it...
haha
funny thing thou i went to the dealer and everyone was looking at my car like WTF..."that's nice man" what kind of rims are those..

i told em i did it they liked and the guy who helped me is a friend so lets see what they can do.

it sounds like it needs some lubb in the steeriing joint
i hope that is it ..

try to rock ur steering wheel back n forth if it makes a clonking sound its probably a defective intermediate shaft.
