For the driver's side... the first time I installed it, I was able to just slide it in (kinda messed up the adhesive, but it worked)... the second time I installed it, I actually removed the battery.

...same spot for the "RIGHT" side...

(I didn't put the "HALO" sticker on mine... still have them. )

The OTHER side is INSIDE the front quarter-panel on mine. (No WELD NUT available on the right side IN the quarter panel...) In BOTH cases, I used an EXISTING weld nut to mount my units... in each case, using just ONE of the mount holes. Seems to be working...

^^^ You know what it is? There ISN'T hardly any OTHER convenient location that WORKS!

(I'd have done it under the battery INSTEAD of inside the fender-well area if I did it again... it's a PAIN to have to pull the "under-cowling" to mess with, or check it. Then again, it ISN'T in a location where a SMALL amount of acid could have GRAVE consequences... :-? )

I've had it in so many spots. The setup I'm running now is zip-tied on the ABS line box thing (for pass. side) and between the fuse box and the body (driver's side). It works well because if all else fails, it won't sit in any fluids (coolant, batt. acid, oil, ect.) and get ruined, I'll try to get some pics soon.
