It use to sound like aluminum cans in the back rattling , Not anymore! I got most of the vibrating noise out but im having trouble where the rack in the back holds the speaker. Seems alot of noise , at least from the inside is coming from there. That leads to my question, peepz with sounds, what noise are you dealing with when your bumping?

Your talking about the "X" frame made of metel under the rear speakers that rattle like crazy when your bumping right? I would just put a piece of foam between there to relieve that problem area. Also check to see if the spare tire, jack & rear license plate is held down tight.

Well if you have a bumping system and if you go outside and actually listen to whats rattling you'll see its actually the well for the spare tire and that rack whatever its called. Those are the 2 loud ass noises. Once you get rid of those your gonna sound pretty good.

Dynamat the entire car, including your doors. Blocks out all road noises and everything.... amazing difference.

I bet! How much weight does that add overall?

(And how much in Dynamat did you have to spend for material?)

i havnt dynamatted my solara, but i know a guy that dynamatted his entire blazer and another that dynamatted his entire car. Sure it adds a little weight, but no more than someone sitting next to you in a passenger seat. These arnt race cars, whats 50-100 extra pounds for superb sound quality and a super quiet ride ;)
