Race Mesh Grille

Has enyone ordered a race mesh grille for the Gen 2 Solara? I don't think they offer it as a standard product, it would have to be special ordered.
I saw one on a Gen 1 and liked the way it looked.

Do you mean a Renova Grille?

Well, there IS the Mike T Grille for a Gen2 (PM michaels artic frost). Logo optional.

The most common mesh grill for the Gen2 is made by a member here. (Commonly referred to as the MikeT grill) You can get it in black or chrome. There's also a billet aluminum grille. Down2TheC has one. It's awesome looking. (No black though)

Here's a pic of the one on my ex-Gen2.

he is referring to an older post, some gen1 person switched the mesh that came with renova and used this companies "race mesh grill" instead. i dont think anyone used it for their gen2's. goodluck if you plan on retrofiting your oem with it.

Just the MikeT or custom for that mesh look.

I'm happy with the Mike "T" grilles right now... I may try the lower BEHIND the "teeth"... per PXL's tut... when it gets warmer...

I'm also interested in removing the hood trim chrome...

Not sure which grille you are meaning, actually...

I'm going to be doing the behind-the-teeth mod tomorrow, I'll post pics of the finished product. I'm lost with the "custom race" grille you're talking about, sorry. :-?

Hey crisp, your car is looking as lot better from earlier this year. A lot less snow is on it now. When are you going to start driving it again?

Did you use touch up paint to paint the teeth silver? I think mine are black.
