Fswb, rswb, or stb first?

I know this has been discussed a few times in one way or another, but I'd like to hear some updated comments on what order you guys have installed your suspension parts, and if you would have done it differently. I plan on eventually getting all three of the TRD suspension ties (strut tower bar, front sway bar, and rear sway bar), but not all at once. I want to keep the car feeling balanced at all times. I had thought about maybe going with the strut bar, then rswb, and last fswb, but I've read a few posts where people have commented they'd wished they'd installed the rswb sooner. All comments appreciated!

RSB first would be my choice. then strut tower bar. .. then whatever else you like..
or first lower the car, then RSB

btw, there is not a FSB for us.

There is no front sway bar for our cars... only the front strut tower brace (or whatever it's called)...

Get the RSB...You'll like it....Money well spent.

RSB is the best bang for the buck so to speak...

The order of my installs:

1) TRD lowering Springs
2)Tein COs (replaced TRD Springs)
3) RSB and FSTB at same time

What I would have done differently: I would have gotten the CO's from the beginning...

I'd get the lowering springs first. I think you'd feel the biggest difference in handling with those. Once you get used to it, time to upgrade with the RSB. It's the order I'm going in, but you can always do as you wish

Thanks guys!I love the look of the Solara lowered, but it's not practical here where I live; the snow, pot holes, railways etc would destroy the car! I will go with the rear bar bar first, then the strut bar. I didn't realize Toyota didn't offer a front bar for the 2nd gen; I did find two aftermarket ones here (one adjustable and one not) that are supposed to be for the 06 I typed in: http://www.globalperformanceparts.com/i ... 082bbe2628

I just may be unless someone beats me to it! The suspension is part of my plan to finish by the time summer comes; I will most likely have all three parts installed by May, with the first to come in the next three weeks.

Haha! Dirty Jerzy actually, northernmost town, but I see you get the idea! I actually wish I could install heavier duty stock height springs, but my girlfriend would kill me for stiffening the ride, so springs of any sort are out of the equation for me. as much as I love the look and ride, if I lowered it, I'd have to watch as the nose got cracked and tatered by the road... not a pretty sight!

Just an update...I got my RSB in a couple of days ago and installed it yesterday. Took a whole 30 mins or so (trying to get the old one out and the new one in took like 15-20). I put it on the stiffest setting and I have to say, the handling is amazing. I'll post up some pics of the install or so whenever i get them from my friend.
