FlowLighting Inferno LED Kit

Alright so I'm now considering getting the Inferno kit on my 05 SE V6. My questions are (if any of you can help):

How much would you guess a professional install would run me? And do places like autozone or pep boys do these installs?

and/or

How challenging is it to do myself if I have no real experience working on a car at all?

The kit is pretty much two 4 foot tubes, two 3 foot tubes, an ECU to control lighting patterns and what not, and an infrared remote.

Thanks! :D

Are you mechanically inclined? Do you have a good place to work, and a full set of tools?

If you "have no real experience working on a car at all" you might want to find a friend who will work for beer. A Pro-install will cost you more than you think it should.

Ya I don't know anything at all about electrical or auto work, so a friend may be the way to go then...

Anyone have any stories/experiences/hints for me on installing?

I have underglow on my 03. Its kind of a bitch to put in, but not REALLY all that hard. I would let a friend do it.

i did it on my car myself before, it's not too hard but i personally think the instructions that come with a kit arent that great. i wouldnt go with trial and error though, do the wrong thing and your wires may melt or even risk blowing the tubes. go with what otehr ppl say and get professional install if needed. some shops over here in chicago do them for about 75-150 bucks. depending on the people/shop. good luck and hope you post pics of the finished result.
