Courtesy Lights in the front foot-well

Postby Robotics » Sun Sep 10, 2006 11:54 am

Just installed a set of homemade Courtesy Lights in the front foot-wells. I found that the foot-wells are very dark in the 2007 SLE Solara Convertable. Don't know if this is an issue in the hardtop version or not. Adding the lights adds an aura of elligance and warmth to the interior lighting at night. 8) I connected them to the curtesy auto dimmer circuit, so they look real cool as they auto dim in conjunction with the overhead dome light.

It cost less than $10 in parts and (2) hours of work. It is simple to do, even if you have limited electrical skills. If anyone is interested I'd be happy to post instructions and installation pictures.
