Going nitrous

A friend of mine have an 06 V6, with dubs. His next project is adding Nitrous. He already is in the planning stages, and waiting for the system to arrive. I'm very anxious about how the solara will perfrom with this added boost. What do you think?

Very Very smart. Putting on heavy rims then running nitrous to keep your facotry timing.. Money well spent.............................

I wouldn't go over a 50 shot of nitrous. It would be good info. to know how much the engine can withstand though.

keep us updated mik00.

Someone on here blew their engine with a small nitro setup... be very careful, our engines can't take much...

Nitrous IMO would be a pain in the ass. It's a cheesy way of gaining extra hp and the only reason it became popular was from the Fast and the Furious.

Make sure you have a camera pointed at the car at all times, this is going to be good.

Good luck with the process. I wouldn't add nitrous on my car simply it would put a lot of stress on the engine for that short period of time.

Hope he's careful. Pretty sure the score is nitrous R&D 1, 3MZ 0. One fried engine due to a runaway injection.
