Nice improvement...it makes me thinks to the TRD springs drop...how many inches you supposed to be dropped now with Tein setup ?

How does that differ from the TRD Springs drop?

That's really a nice amount - not too "slammed" either. :)

Too Bad

Postby JMSinMaryland » Wed Sep 06, 2006 8:31 pm

Too bad the Solara's don't come stock with a nice drop. I guess Toyota believes a 2-door = sportiness. Wrong.

I don't care to go major "lowrider riceboy" with mine, but it would be nice to have the same stance as the BMW 6 series Convert...

Which is about what you have now KSolara :)

Thanks for that comparison/info! :)

With the 20's I might just go with the TRD springs so it'd be less likely to rub.

'toyochick' has 20s with the Tein and she said she doesnt get too much rubbing.. unless she has passengers in the back or big bumps.. just ask her before u decide

Well like I said - it's more about performance and a better stance than looks alone for me. Just my pref. But WTF do I know - I'm just an old fart anyway! ;)
