I got my CAI extension has been done, and installed last week.
It gives me a little better torque from dead stop, and the sounds became a little deeper.

also, I have installed custom header from JP Performance.
I just got installed today, and have not drive much yet.
however, i can feel better acceleration around 2,000 to 4,000.

Here are some pictures.

Awesome! Did the CEL come on after you eliminated the front converter?

Did the shop have to change the outlet flange on the header? Any change in sound?

Nice work!!!

damn..
i was sleeping for an hour or so.. and woke up because it's so hot...
and can't go back to sleep.. so i'm doing SG....

so far, CEL has not come up..
the installer said something about the O2 Sim i got, and he didn't installit. he said he will send me some parts to use instead of the O2 sim i got.

I only talked to him on the phone briefly, so i am not sure.. but he did something to the o2 sensor to make it so that CEL will not come on. (I"ll talk to him on monday and find out what exactly he did, and how it works...)

and the Header from JP is direct bolt on. JP said that i might need to modify the frange, but there was no need for that.
probably took the installer about an hour..

the sound has changes slightly.. not really noticeable...
it might have added a little deeper note, but could be from the CAI extention, or could be just my imagination....
leaset what i know is that CAI has cut down higher pitch sound from engine a little, so as a whole make it a little deeper.

well.. i'll let you hear when i see you at elmhurst.
