Can anyone confirm whether the Gen 2.5 grill will fit on a Gen 2?

The best way is to hook up with a Gen2/2.5er and remove them to find out... even if the shape is the same, there's guarantee the mounting tabs are in the same location...

I was wondering that too.

Jacked that pic from another thread, but you can kinda see the Gen2 on the right side.

It should be the same... I compared them side by side. I'll be doing this soon if you all are patient.

Damn - isn't the big Yota logo even bigger on the 2.5?

Looks like a big zit on the car's nose! :o

LOL! Never been a fan of the 'guy in the sombrero' logo. Image

But I was thinking of getting the 2.5 grill, and then painting the sombrero guy to match the grill, so it doesn't stand out as much. iinokturnolii did it to his Gen 2 grill, (check the link) and I think it tones it down quite a bit.

Still thinking about it. I'll have to check out a 2.5 in person. None of the pics I've seen are real clear.

I REALLY don't like that ridge that runs across, RIGHT THROUGH THE MIDDLE of the 2.5 grille... I wish they would have left it alone with straight up honeycomb instead of adding that stupid ridge...

I didn't notice it in the pics until you mentioned it. Yeah, they should have left it alone. Now I really want to see one in person.

Yeah, I never noticed in the pics, but in person it stands out to me... It's annoying as hell, off-setting it in an odd way that draws my attention to it (in a negative way)...
