Remote Start Question

Postby iinokturnolii » Wed Jun 28, 2006 10:09 pm

My friend helped me install my remote start a while back. he couldnt find the other remote wire so my fan (AC) can turn on when i remote start my car. i leave the fan on with the AC before i leave the car but for some reason it still doesnt turn on... my friend said there might be another remote wire somewhere and DEI (Viper 771) didnt list it on thier website. Can someone help or know what he did wrong or find the other remote wire? Thanx

A lot of us have remote start, but I don't think any of us did it ourselves... so it'll be hard...

Here's a test... turn off your engine with the AC still on, then turn on the engine with the keys (not remote start)... does the AC come on then?
