Gen 2 (+) SLE with TRD springs

Are there any Gen 2 SLE pilots out there who have the TRD springs installed? I've been advised that there may be an issue with how the springs match up with the SLE struts leading to a bouncy ride. :multi:

I will be driving my 07 on long trips and ride quality will be important.

Appreciate any feedback that you may have!

Also interested in any experience with Teins springs on the Gen2 SLE as well.

Thanks!

There's a Tien thread in here where they're saying it's a good ride with Tien.

My wife, June has them on her '04. The look is right, but the ride is a bit harsh and not really that bouncy.

hmmmm....are there any other economical solutions ($200-300) for lowering the ride height on the SLE that won't have a dramatic impact on the ride? 2" drop seems a bit much and $1350 for the Teins increases my back end pucker-factor. All I would really like to do is level her out a bit to get that behind out of the air, so to speak.

Search around a bit for the amount of drop on these, but there are:

TRD
Eibach (supposedly same/similar to TRD)
Sprint
Tein (springs, not coilovers)
