Roof Rack?

I am going to buy a kayak soon but need to find a way to transport it without borrowing one of my parents' cars. Does anyone have a roof rack for their 2nd gen. Solara? I have no idea how they mount but I would prefer one that does not require any drilling in metal if at all possible...

Also, if you have a roof rack, what did it cost? I looked online a while ago and they were $600+!

All Yakima Racks are clamp-on - check them out... the best way to go with your kayak! (unless you have a convert like me, that is!)

yakima and thule both make great rack systems tha require no drilling. check ebay for the parts to save some $

2-door cars have longer doors than a 4-door so they attach in the door jam - front and back edges. Check out Yakima online - there's tons of photos and descriptions everywhere. Google can be your friend!

Whatever you do, get something that will come off easily...you don't want to ruin the look of your car when you aren't hauling that kayak :-)
