20" rims question-gen.2

Postby gone » Mon Apr 17, 2006 9:28 am

i searched but didnt find it.

I will soon be upgrading to 20's on my ride. Some kid by me is selling his Zenetti Stella rims -chrome. He says its 20x8.5 and doesn't know the offset.I cant find the offset on any websites either. I was wondering if anyone knows if they will fit? They are coming off a Infiniti 4dr G35.
My 19's i have are 19x7.5, i know 19x8 is perfect for our rides.
-Thanks to phreakdout and prodigy79 for there help. i'de figure i'de ask anyone on here that have 20's what they got.
Tire size i know i need like 225 35 20.Plus, I have a 2 inch drop

THANKS

Wheel offset

Postby DocJohn » Mon Apr 17, 2006 9:53 am

Check out this page:

http://www.bigwheels.net/?location=whee ... a%20Chrome

20" x 8.5" Zenetti Stella's in our bolt pattern (5x114.3) are available in 0 mm , +20 mm, and +40 mm offsets. I checked and a 4DR Infiniti G35 would almost certainly be using the +40 mm offset which is just what you need.

Upgraded (bigger) brakes are nice, but the need for them is really dependent on your tire diameter rather than your wheel size. That is to say, if you are running a 20" rim with very close to the same outside diameter size tire as stock, then there is no significantly increased brake loading. The "need" for bigger brakes comes when you switch to oversized tires like may SUV owners like to do.

NCC is the all-too-creative-crap, along with attending classes every now and then on campus.

Here's two pics with 20's on a Gen. 2, I'm sure there Solara Guy members as well, hope you don't mind me borrowing the pics.

yea, theyre for sale. shipping is a bitch.there's some issues with them, sellin them for $700 cuz there's a bend and theres some paint chipping by the lug nuts, and scratches. I bought them like that.if anyones interested lemme know.I had 2 people over by me interested but never picked them up.They're 19" Axis Hagens with tires- 30% tread on 2 , 75% left on the other 2.They're not bad just for having rims for the season.I got more pix also, but only if someones interested, pm me
