The Polishing Shop... chrome your OEM wheels
This looks very interesting! I love the 17" alloys now. I just would like them more if they were chrome. I was searching the internet and came across this website. Anyone familiar with it? It says it's cheaper because you exchange your OEM wheels for chromed OEM wheels.
This might be very interesting and depending on the price, I might try it out. I've sent an email asking for information, but I'll let ya'll know.
I would like to get new wheels, but I don't want a 4x4 look. Some phat 19"s would be sweet, but I'd have to lower the car a bit to make it look right. I've already knicked the front ground effects and getting it lowered would be bad in my neighborhood. My driveway alone would eat the front lip every day, if the car was lowered.... so sticking with stock wheels and height might be the best idea for me.
The chrome OEM wheels with the billet grill (or Mike T's chrome grill [haven't decided yet]) might be sweet looking.
[edit] I guess I should post the link. http://thepolishingshop.com/exchange.htm
