search carparts.com >2001>toyota>highlander>v6>tow package. The alternater is at 110amps, instead of the 80 amps(at least in my avalon). Its made for the 1mzfe so its a direct fit. I think it should be $60 shipped.

Actually your car may be too new to use carparts.com. You may have to hit up the dealer or maye NAPA if you're lucky. A new 130 amp Highlander alternator for the 1MZFE cost me over $300 at NAPA including core charge. None of the dealerships had one in stock in my area, they had to order it from their warehouse in another state. I'm not sure what the 3MZFE alternator specs are, but the Higlander does have a high output version with at least 130 amps. That should work for you unless your system is extreme.

No... wait yes... A sub and amp and some new lights and all because you got power to use up for free.

What is this equipment going to consist of? If you say w7's, 1000x1, and 300x4 then you're going to need to get a bigger one that 130 :D

Another thing you may want to do is get a ground wire kit or do the big 3.

Is the gen2 80A stock too?

You should probably find that out before you "upgrade".

I just did a little googling. This page shows that the Gen2 comes with a 100Amp.
