Do you mean an underglow kit? or accent lighting your interior?

Changing dash Hvac Controls?

Converting turnsignals and brakelights to LEDs?

Your pretty vague.

Yeah, a related question here:

Is there a way to apply neon to the interior, like dash-area or anywhere, that it looks kinda classy and accents your trim, and not like rice-a-roni?

Do you mean under the dash or actual lighting on the dash it self?

I think hidden neon/leds that are aimed properly and color matched add a unique touch to any vehicle.

If you have exposed tubes and wires dangling and big AUTOzone switches then I think its rice/poorly done.

I am a big fan of LEDs low power draw and bright and very versitle.

Yeah, well hidden, more for accent lighting.

Do you have any experience with that? Any pics or links or what-not so I can look into it?

Also- is it in any way illegal?

Legally I think there is some rule about driving distraction. But if you have neon lights under your dash and seats it will not create glare or blind spots. If you put something on your package tray or the headliner it would glare of the windows and blind you. Legally maybe not but safety wise I would keep some of the neons for the shows and parking lots.

Neon lights are simple nothing to hard to fiqure out.

www.streetglow.com has some great installs.

You can spend 30 dollars for under your dash. To 200 dollars for under your depends on what you want to do.

I would suggest some Streetglow minis under the dash, maybe a license plate frame secured to the floor under the seat. It glows the best all 4 sides.

Hooking it up a relay would be pretty sweet, but a simple switch will do.

if u wanna fo the exterios such as ur brake signals and the turns signals u can buy the bulbs from ebay

they sell all kinds with diff no. of LED's per bulb.

it is best to buy the one with bold LED's/bulb so they are more bright. Something like the 3-d ones are good.

One thing to note is most of them will need a simple splice on resistor which sells for like 4-5 bux each.

I did find one vendor who was selling one bulb for 16 bux which didnt require a resistor. They looked awesome too..

so just find out ur bulb no. n look on ebay

Gluck.

Be careful with those LED replacement bulbs. I had done all of the exterior marker/turn/brake lights in my Supra with the LEDs and had to go back due to poor quality products. My side marker LEDs separated from the base causing a short in more than half of the LEDs. The tail/turn/brake lights had LEDs start failing within just a few days - some 10,000 hours there.

I have not yet tried the PIAA LEDs but would like to.

Just throwing out a word of caution.

Wow... so... I don't think I have the skillz to be running wires all in and out of doors and such. Is there a way I could, like, connect some tubes to a battery, or something? And just, like, tape everything up under the dash, or something? And not have it look ultra-ghetto? (Like, you wouldn't see the assemble from where you sit in the car).
