Yellow Fog Light Film

Yellow Fog Light Film

Postby cklinh » Mon Mar 14, 2005 7:19 pm

Stole this from a Gen 1/1.5 thread...

http://www.stickercity.com/store/custom ... 174&page=1

It's basically a clear bra for the fog lights, but they have them in different colors too... blue, yellow, and smoked... looks like they also have it pre-cut for our cars...

I was _thinking_ about doing yellow fogs with the HID's but am not sure how it'd look.

I remembered at least one of us (I think it was DocJohn) that was looking for the bright yellow rally look... this might be it... and at $20, it might be worth it to give it a go...

I think one of the Gen 1/1.5ers had their film installed...

Nice! A guinea pig!

Please post pics and comments if you do do it... I'm just worried about the installation... let's just say that I never seem to get these peel and stick things right... they always manage to get air bubbles or scratches on them...

I'm sure the blue ones look _exactly_ like the yellow ones

Besides, didn't she have it put on by them? I wanted to know if I could do it myself and have it look halfway decent... (probalby not...)

I did have them put it on. I suggest you not do it your self, it's not as easy at it seems.

Here some night time pics if you haven't seen it.

No, she doesn't have HID, just stock. The guys @stickercity did the install. They are located here in North Hollywood where we live. Personally, I think it could be done DIY. I would try using something round like a can or something to help get the round shape.

They aren't blue, I think they shine a nice white. IMO, it just makes the color match more with the headlights. In the daytime with the lights off, it looks like 2 blue circles. I really like them, especially with the artic frost paint. :D

Thanks, Larry for clearing it up for these guys.... The Tint is Blue, the light output looks Ultra white... Some guys are TARDS!!!! LOL

Thanks for clarifying, Astro. And you, 1LOKEDOUTSLE... well excuse me a-hole, sorry I didn't know that BLUE tint would lead to WHITE light. And none of this "it's an inside joke", "take it or leave it" bullcrap... oh look, I'm putting LOL in this, therefore it's okay for me to call you names... tard... a-hole, same thing...

Mods, delete if you must, I won't edit.
