click the link to see the muffler I am talking about. I talked to the guy at midas, he said that the price of the muffler with installation is only about $260. while the TRD muffler is about $500 to begin with and that doesn't even include the cost of installation.

which should I go with? will I be a ricer if I choose the midas muffler?

go with magnaflow...should be about the same price, is well-known, has a wide selection of styles, and has a nice sound

some places can order the muffler the same day and install the same day too

does chaning to the TRD Muffler really add performance? It says on the website that it may produce up to 10% HP increase? I'd do it if I get another 20HP

realistically on a n/a car you're looking at 0-3whp...it's mostly for looks and sound

just custom one muffler with piping for less than $200, the ravin muffler is hella ugly.

400~500 for a muffler~
yeah, that's why u should never get online and buy stuff when u were drunk like me.. :o

anyway, i still think TRD muffler doesn't make any significant improvement in performance,
however, TRD air-filter significantlly improved alot, and i believe K&N filter would do the same performance too.
cause those are simliar products.

the things that i feel TRD is better are street legal and factory warranty.

You're forgetting the cool TRD logo on the chrome tip! That's worth $500 delivered, doncha think? :o

Really, the magna flow should give you all the performance increase you're going to see. A full 3" custom exhaust would really do it.
