is that a good/normal pricing for brakes? I need new ones, cuz mine are starting to make high squeeling noise when braking sometimes. I'm thinking Toyotas brakes aren't that great. My mom's Sienna and my dad's tacoma does the same thing after 1 year of driving. Less than 15k mi. I dunno.... what is best to get for good price?

That is normal price for a BIG BRAKE kit. You can replace yours with a non-Toyota brand brakes and give that a try. I know what you mean about Toyota brakes, my Camry did the same thing.

Will those fit under the stock 17" rims? Or do they require 18"+?

What is the increase in diameter from stock?

Looks like a reasonable setup for a FRONT BBK upgrade.

- Do they have a matching rotor fitment for the rear, using the stock caliper?
- Is front/rear brake bias an issue with the front-only fitment, or are these OK ??

For those who have done BBKs, or consider the OE braking inadequate, am curious to hearing your comments.

I have an AP Racing BBK on my track car, mainly for reduced R&R (less replacement of rotors/pads), reduced fade, etc... I find that to fully benefit from "more braking" you really need track (R-compound) tires; with street tires I often find myself over-braking the tires (brake power >> street tire grip).

More $$ for cross-drilled, which are really more a "bling" upgrade. Slotted rotors typically perform better over time (better thermal mass, less susceptible to cracking).

Of course BBKs just look cool :)

##############

Downsides besides $$ are the potential for increased weight due to the bigger rotors, although most aftermarket BBK feature lighter-weight calipers and 2-piece (rotor/hat) setups.

Any info on that rear brake kit as well?

That's still about 1/2 the price of the Precision kits!

Out of curiousity NSX did you upgrade your master cylinder as well? Majority of the time from what I've noticed is that so many people upgrade their amount of brake pistons and loose braking distance due to insufficant preasure...
