I'd like to know how he cleared those fronts and rears. No email address for him though.

Wow...is he on this board??? I signed his guestbook, asking him how he did it. That is sweet...I'm drooling and I can't wait to learn how he did it, so that I can do it too.

Guess he's not on this forum. Tell him how to get here. Maybe it's a good idea to look for Gen2 owners on cardomain who have done nice mods and bring them here to share.

Agreed on the front vs back. Front looks much better cleared. Back isn't too bad stock.

Dang...he said he's not giving away his "secret" on the blue dashboard...We have to entice him somehow to get on this board and share his secrets.

He obviously replaced all the LED's with blue ones. As to which ones and how he did it, only he can share that. I'm sure someone else on this board will eventually start replacing LED's like so many Gen1/1.5 people have.

i was thinking about these clear lights at the back. Isnt that DANGEROUS i mean when i see red lights come on it says stop if im behind a guy and i see clear come on i either think hes going backwards ( headlights commin at ya) or hes going in reverse.

sorta confusing

I think the rear lights still have red bulbs after being cleared and that poster only removed the red reflector housing in back that makes them even redder. Same thing with front clears. I think the bulbs are still yellow but he removed the yellow pieces that enhance the yellow. Makes absolutely no sense and very dangerous to have white bulbs for front turning lights and rear brake lights.

I think the answer to the clear corners is the oven. For the ones that haven't heard of this technique, like myself, it will obviously sound absurd initially. But, I was told by another member (SorKang) on this board of this oven technique and I did a search on the Internet, and apparently many have been successful with using the oven technique to achieve their clear corners.

Here's a link to a DIY thread on a Honda Forum (excuse the Honda reference): http://www.honda-acura.net/forums/showt ... hp?t=56277

Michael, want to be a tester??? :P

I think I will try this.

i'm not feelin the rears or the fronts. i kind of like a little color..it adds visual interest. I think it's a lot of trouble baking your head and tail lights in the oven for that look. but hey, to each his own right? I do like the dash though.
