So if i'm reading your charts and stuff correctly, your better off with the injen than the CPE?

That is the case if you are using the untunable box version of the CP-e. When I removed the CPe box and installed the URD MAFSC the car could not stay running. I need to adjust the fuel curves on the urd unit to allow the use of the CPe. Once I find a curve that works for the CPe I can tune from there. Until I have the time to play around with the curves, I am running my injen intake.

When the CPe is installed and mafsc tuned properly I should see significant gains over the injen/jpp combo.

Any chance you happened to test injen vs cpe without any tuning box?

The Injen dyno did not have the urd box installed (just running off of the stock cpu management). The car won't run using the CPe without it's included box.

Cool - haven't been checking into this forum for awhile... good to see someone has picked up the torch from me with those headers! ;)

I ended up getting about a dozen custom tunes from Split Second before they finally nailed it. The CPe box was crap and even the tunable couldn't keep the CELs from coming on.

Good luck with your NOS too... just make sure your drivetrain (mainly the POS tranny) can handle it!

Nice to see you back on here PXL. Every time I start the lara up I get a sh!tty grin on my face. Thank you PXL for having gone through all the R&D.

Currently the n2o kit is still on back order from last week so hopefully it gets shipped before the end of this one. I'm pretty optimistic the tranny will hold up with the aid of a window switch and only using the n2o every now and then. If it does crap out then oh well, because I'll never find out if I don't make an attempt.
