It's legal to have white or amber. Here...check it out.

http://www.aroundthecapitol.com/code/code.html?sec=veh&codesection=24950-24953
24953. (a) Any turn signal system used to give a signal of intention to turn right or left shall project a flashing white or amber light visible to the front and a flashing red or amber light visible to the rear.

But to answer you question, I do not have this and they don't offer it. However, if you want to spend the extra money, I can purchase one of each and see if I can switch out the lenses. Several peeps have asked about this and this is all I can recommend.

I think he meant you take off your mirrors and ship them to him and don't drive your car for several days until you get them back modified.

No no no...lolz.

Read #5

5. Be sure to pack your mirrors well, because I do not want to receive broken mirrors. I’ve had customer’s ship me their mirrors wrapped in blankets. Also, it is in your best interest to purchase insurance when you ship the mirrors. If you ship via USPS, I would recommend insuring $400 because each mirror is $190 from the dealership.

You can drive your car without your side view mirrors, I did it for 3 weeks. Just be careful when changing lanes.

Hey Mike,

Are these still available? I may be getting surgery on my ankle within the next two months, and won't be able to drive for about 2 weeks. Perfect time to ship my mirrors to you.

For those in Cali, it looks like these have to be Amber. From the Vechicle Code from the DMV website:

(b) Side-mounted turn signal lamps projecting a flashing amber light to either side may be used to supplement the front and rear turn signals.

Let me see if I can get the amber ones, but keep in mind that it's an amber lense as well.

Sorry to hear bout your ankle, hope it's not too serious...I've sprang mine prolly over 50 times in my lifetime playing ball.

Oh thats right, I forgot about the yellow lens. How would that look on a Lunar Mist? Do you guys think I can get away with a white light signal on the mirrors?

From this website:

http://www.chp.ca.gov/html/streetlegal.html

"Illegal...

Incorrect color of turn signal. It must be white or yellow to the front, red or yellow to the rear (24953 VC).

Illegal color of side marker lights. If present, must be yellow in the front and red in the rear (25106, 24003 VC)."

PS kgzero1's finding did not necessarily exclude white light... (it didn't say it's not permissible)...

So, it's a matter of whether these lights are considered turn signal lights or side marker lights... I'd vote for the former... although I bet you'd only get a ticket if the cop was a real A-Hole... and even then, you could probably contest it...
