Thanks for this precious feed-back !
It makes sense since the spring should be very tight if the "height adjustment ring" is up

The JIC's have damper control, maybe it's something that has to be adjusted???

I think TEIN has 16 setup and JIC 15 to control damper force (If a understand well what is damper control you referencing on...)

Yah... I played with the damper settings, just couldn't get it to ride comfortably... must have had 50 different combinations of the damper before I finally readjusted the height.

The pictures in the CD page was right after I had the Teins installed and were at the "wrong"/"non-recommended" height...

Tires are 225/45/18.

The too high or too low ""wrong"/"non-recommended" height" ???

After seeing scLara626 and Tacti ride (both using TRd springs + 20's)
I think a bit much with my little brain...and I think I got a nice solution for me.

My current winter tires are 205/60R16 (0.33" smaller then stock tires)
So I seek a bigger tire who would fit the car and I find out quickly with 1010tire.com tools that a 225/60R16 tire would give me 0.47" more ride height coming from the +0.94" overall diameter tire size on my current winter tire.

So let say it is an increase of 0.5" remove from the 1.3" average drop of the TRd springs. 0.8" inch drop total in winter...sounds good and a cheap way to achieve my goal (at 75%). And the tire will fit perfeclty.

Ok now let's talk about wheels ! :P
What do you think of this one ??

Those are 20X10.5 (rear) so remove a lot of lip to get the 19X8 I want.

I had TRD springs before my Teins also... The difference between the springs and COs is like night and day...

I'm kind of confused about how you went from wanting adjustability to deciding on TRD springs.

Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide.

I have already TRD Springs...I'm trying to make my wheels look bigger ! The spokes doesn't go thru all the diameter like the Verde 5ive. So the spokes have a near a inch shorter then the full radius. It makes the wheel look smaller. So I have to select...drop the ride, to increase the ratio of the height of the wheel divide by the height of the ride may be reduce (will give the impression that the car is longer and thiner...) or just put big 19's or 20's (but 20's here are a huge ri$$$$k)

Hope you're less confused in the following of my choice evolution...:P

Yes, now I understand... your original inquiry about COs was just a feeler... you weren't interested in primarily upgrading your suspension, but rather making your wheels look bigger. Now everything is clear... crystal :D

BTW the wheels on the GS are hot!
Happy Modding!

My primary goal is to fill a bit more the gap between my tire and fender...but I was also pleased with the avantage of an upscale supension drop. But after studied all the options, I'm back to point A. But at least, I know why I'm at point A :P I would love to live in California for the winter above zero degrees celcius and for all the car shop !! But I'm here, it has its avantage to live here...but maybe not in winter ! :P

Thanks for your comment on the wheel. I'm liking the offset (+35mm). Those wheels would stands 5mm toward outside compare to my 18's (both are 8" width), and I was already loving their offset ! :D

The wheel share the same pattern as my 18's but with a more classic taste. I think that they would look nice on my black car. But there is just one thing I find less nice, it's that the spoke doesn't finish themselves on the the full radius of the wheel. Until now, after some week of searching, they are the only 19" that I like and that I can afford (I have expensive taste :P, every wheel that I find hot were like 1000US$/ea. 3 pieces (like you Posh).
