Door Sill Plates

I used a little rubbing alcohol before sticking them on. 6 months, not a scratch. Brushed stainless rocks!

Excellent sound quality and the magnet wont touch the rear metal brace.

Nope, $118 a pair. Gotta love Ebay. I was going to get the 5 way Pioneers too, until my friend convinced me to just go for the Infinity Kappas.

Our cars arent really SUVs that require a "step up/down." I have had them for about a year now with no scratches on my side or the passenger side.

The dealership just keeps sending me these little mailings with their "speacials" on maintainance and parts. Second time I have received it with a 30% off coupon.

BTW, since when do we have to get minor service every 5,000 miles($60). According to the delaership, it's Toyota recommended, but the books says otherwise. This minor service used to be every 15,000 miles, and now the 15,000 miles is what used to be 30,000 ($150). what up with that?

It's very easy to train yourself to not step on the sills when getting in and out. Besides it's an unnatural movement to step on them anyway. I wouldn't worry so much about them. And the TOyota ones are not as shiny as the picture.

I've got a set still in the box that I got from a Solaraguy member for sale. They are very nice but I went with the Silver Solara version.

Any takers pm me.. You can search the site for pics.

Worst I've done is spill coffee on them. The brushed stainless is pretty resilient and hides any minor dings. Only time I have to be careful is when doing work in the footwells (ECU and such). If I could find the right stuff I'd like to clearcoat them with some 3M stuff. Like a clear bra material. But something that could be replaced when it gets gooped up. That would be the best setup I think.
