Has anyone done this before and how is the sound quality? I did a swap on my 96 Taco and the factory deck sounded terrible so I ended up replacing everything. I don't want to change the factory look but I want sound quality as well. The factory JBL's do sound nice, just wondering if it would be better with aftermarkets.

The factory JBL is nice but you will have to bypass the factory amp and install some aftermarket amps if you want quality sound reproduction from aftermarket speakers.
