Mr. Slippery wrote:fwiw, when I got the precision grille, it took a while with not much communication. well worth the wait though. The only thing is mine is starting to chip on the inside where it is black. I still think it's the best production grille for the gen 2 though.

Where did you buy from anyway?

The company is local to me at least. Its in Santa fe springs, ca

But the seller or the site is from AZ

They look nice. I just wish the peole who made them would but a border around the grilles to finish them off and so it wouldn't show gaps on the lower bars on the upper and both the lower and upper bars on the lower grille. I hope that made sense.

Look pretty cool - kinda bent looking in places though - do they fit alright?

it really goes nice with your wheels...though i have to say from the first pic...there's somewhat of a gap near the bottom of the top grill?

I think that's the pic playing visual treicks...they all look like that. I mentioned it a while back on another thread for the same type grilles, and that's what I was told.

That's what I was saying in my post above about there needing to be a border, or trim around the outside of each grille. Not thick or anything, but just enough to get rid of those gaps. I think that's look nice.

Mine's similar in style, only all black. I tried to combine with an OEM trim, but just ran out of time and patience to finish it.

Mine also don't seem to look as "bent" either... must have been a different manufacturer.

You have any other angles of the grille? I have to say, I never noticed you had changed it out.

I think it really depends on the camera and angle (bent looking). Could also have something to do with the chrome...just telling you what I got when I made the same comment a long time ago.

I do like these billet grilles, but if I were to get one, I think I'd like to find a way to put the T back on, since I think it still needs to be broken up a bit. JMO.

What you got going on on the lower? Hard to tell, from the pic, if there's anything there.

^^ Yeah - same thing on the lower as well - just doesn't show in that light. Here's another angle - hard to photo black objects in bright light. ;)
