HALO FOG LIGHTS!!!

Postby jvsoccer1788 » Sun Mar 11, 2007 8:10 pm

ya first off it not a clown car u can cycle the colors or they will change automatically, ya i had to put a hole there the fog light is alittle to big for the opening, these were on ebay for $60 with shipping, mine have 7 differnet colors heres the link http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/7-COLOR-PROJECTOR-FOG-LIGHTS-LIGHT-W-HALO-UNIVERSAL_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33709QQitemZ250091722807QQrdZ1, wen i ordered them they were out of stock to so they sent me the new ones which have different colors than that.

so how do they work?

Is the foglight switch is useless now?

.....and that control operates them now?

What do you mean, they only cycle?, you cant jus leave them on , like blue?

Also is your fog bulb on or is it just the ring thats on, or ring and bulb?

i dont know wat and oem switch is, but the clicker for the led light ring has an led that changes colors at the sametime as the light ringa and it has a special 4 wire fitting that fits the light ring wire, the fog light switch is not useless all you have to do is cut offf ur factory harness and put on the one that comes with the kit, the light ring is only on, you can put both of them on if you want, wen you first turn on ur car it goes in to a cycle of all of the colors, then u can click the put for it to stop and clicking it again will go to individual colors, like blue, red, green, baby blue, yellow, purple etc.

So how do you like it? Doesn't look like it fits as good as the Stock fog light. Is it a clean fit and are you still using the same bulb. These aren't made for a solara rite, there universal? Sorry for the tons of questions but, im gonna be getting some fogs soon and i might get these as a alternative. Am not really feeling them.......

You could have done a better job cutting that hole in the change box, Drill bit and drill maybe? hole saw? Looks like you stabbed it with a screwdriver. What are you trying to accomplish anyway? Just leave it stock, You will never get a better fog light light in there thats better than Toyota . Buy it ,drive it, leave it stock and enjoy it. I'm out .......5000 Gee
