In real HID, usually the kelvin rating is too high to be properly seen in bad weather, so the addition of fog lights bring out everything, and that's even the reason manufacturers still insist on OEM fogs being Halogen, and yellow/amber colors amplifies the light more.

I hope you were kidding about the "cheap" Silverstars! :o They're anything but "cheap" unfortunately! ;)

Though I don't personally care for the yellow fog lights, you are correct about the practical application of yellow/amber fogs in actual FOG! ;)

Since we rarely have fog issues here in SoCal, I think I'd never use my fogs for that purpose - but it does help light the road directly in front and to the sides... :)

i like what youve done! personally i dont like when people tint their tails too dark, at that point they look like lense covers which look like garbage. yours are perfect.

the eyelids look great too. and i, for one, am a fan of the yellow fogs. living in upstate ny they come in handy on foggy or snowy drives.

thanx "solarablue"
Yellow Fogs are typical JDM look hehe
A lot of people think that it gives that Lexus look.
I tried the angel-eye looking fogs, but doesn't really look good on Solara.
My friend in Korea, is making custom headlight housing for the 2004~2006 solara, so i hope he finishes.

Also, alot of you guys said $200 is too much. I had to pay that much because i didn't know how to do all that.
However if you guys just buy the vinyl for the eyebrow, it's about $10
and for the yellow fogs, yellow film cost about $10
and for the tinted tail-lights, the film cost about $50
so the total comes out to be $70

I paid $200 for the labor+time and etc.

if any of you interested in bodygraphics, films, and vinyls and etc, check out this website @

www.instylegraphics.com

and if any of you are planning to buy it email the guy first saying that the guy with black solara recommended to you, and he will give you guys better price.

None of my lights are stock, except for the turn signal.

I got 8000K HID
Nokya Yellow Fogs w/yellow tint
one of those white High beam
White back-up lights
LED bulbs for tail.

And also painting tail for $80 is too much, You can get them for $50 in Koreantown.

But then it's hard to remove those, and colors fade away about 4 months later. Smoke films, you can just peal them off, and it also protects the housing from breaking.

Smoking other tail-lights such as Civic those are only like $60

The reason why it cost me $140 was because they don't have a pre-cut for the solaras, and since the tails are bubblely? so it was hard for them to install it, and really tricky cuz the film kept worping.

Oh and my muffler,

It's custom made from Korea

It's made to fit exactly into my solara, since i have that body-kit? thingy for SE SPORTS.

It's a carbon fiber muffler w/ low sounds which meets the CA law.

Maybe i'll post up the pix of muffler and the video :)
