^ I like it man. sounds similar to mine except mine is a slightly deeper tone. well done. only downfall of my exhaust is that the muffler is angled down a little bit.. not straight like yours.. but its alright.
Great job man.

Very nice. I couldn't run the file you linked. I look forward to hearing it.

They did a nice job on the inlet pipe. It's kind of tricky to bend.

FYI: I noticed the '06 has a dynamic damper bolted onto the center pipe. (Just before the bend) I don't remember this on the '04 models. There's no benefit to removing it or adding it. It's placed there to take out a resonance sound at highway speeds. (It changes the natural resonance frequency of the assembly) Since you have installed this new muffler, it's basically doing nothing for you now. Feel free to remove it if you wish.

I guess you can decide that for yourself now. Below is the TRD exhaust on my Gen2. Then end of the clip has interior sound with Injen and TRD exhaust.

I think either exhaust would be fine. The HKS is a little raspier. If you chose a larger and longer body HKS muffler (more volume) then some of this would go away.

Well guys, I think the HKS sounds TOUGH! I have always been an HKS fan, so if I didn't already have the TRD, I'd have bought the HKS for SURE.... (The TRD looks, sounds, and performs well, none-the-less...)

I suspect the HKS is substantially LIGHTER...

That's enough reason alone to consider it for me... ALL ABOUT PERFORMANCE, you know! Heh heh...

THANKS for the sound clips.... and DARN YOU HKS for NOT HAVING that thing available when I called just a couple months back...

Anyone want my "nearly brand new" TRD? HA!

P.S. STAND ON THAT MUTHU' so we can actually HEAR IT ROAR a little, ay?

I am sure I won't like if it sounds something like a Honda...which of the two is the less raspy one? How about this longer body muffler...

Well the only thing wrong with this HKS muffler is the fact that it drains gas so quickly, it's a bitch............and no it's not cuz i'm always constantly pressing down on the pedal to hear it lol

I finally heard the sound file at home...network at WORK is ultra filtered (while it may sound good on beer, its not good for internet). Anyway, it sounds really nice...very deep. Nice job...

Nice vid and sound...however, what is that dull popping on deceleration (while lowering revs)?
