^^ LOL. I saw a beetle with a tan bra (it was a tan beetle). I assumed they now come with colored bra's....but you made it...A for skills. But you could have choosen a more matching color??

Man, I have to commend you on your sewing job. I would have come up with something asymetrical for sure. :D Got the little wind deflectors on there, too.

I've driven down to Lakeland during the bug season; I don't blame you for trying to cover the whole front. If I was living down there, I'd try to cover the whole half of the car (windshield and all) with something transparent. . .

You got it - the "Love Bugs" (as we call them) are real bad here in Florida this time of year. When you spray the Bra with Sun-of-a-gun they don't stick...

So why not spray the car with son of a gun and forget the bra? Moisture will form under the bra and screw up the paint. Color mismatch frm th elements as well.

If you spray that stuff directly on your car, the Florida sun will bake the paint right off.

If everyone did what everyone else in here did, then there would be no originality.

Most of this forum prfers hot-rod Solara to classy Solara. With the matching tan convertible roof, I think it works.

Very nice job! The color isn't really my style but it's all in your taste ya know. It'll definitely be nice when love bug season comes back around.
