That looks like the most un-for-show vehicle ever. No spoiler, beige, old person behind the wheel, stock hubcaps...maybe she has a kid who wanted to give it a go...

But the cutout and bumper cover are all painted. hmmm

Definitely a crappy job whoever did it.

Looks like this person may have a Y pipe down there. I did some stuff to the picture and it looks like a muffler on the left, and a pipe with a tip but no muffler on the right. This is strange since the muffler starts out on the right stock.

waitin' for the REAL DEAL exhaust...

Postby crispone » Mon Sep 18, 2006 2:20 pm

....now, if only someone routed the front/aft manifolds into a nice collector that took a direct detour out the right side just behind the wheel-well before the door.... (and provided ear-plugs and exhaust mask to passengers....) WHAAA????!!!

Well, there's some initiative, but they could've done better. A lot better.

If its just for show - then he didn't accomplish much! LOL!

I'd say, if you can't do it right, then this is one job you can't fake much.

it could be a V6 because my car was hit from behind but they never replaced the V6 emblem it just says SLE

dishon22, keep in mind that in ALL Solaras produced, SLEs are always strictly V6. SE comes in both I4 and V6, but I guess somehow you do have a point.

That guy really messed his car up with that dual exhaust. The stock look way better than that. I can't imagine the power loss with the dual exhaust setup.

GEN 2's are availiabie in an SLE 4 cyl- I actually test drove one just to see what they were like.

Back on topic- Kudos to whoever did choose to put duals on their solara- its not perfect, but it shows that it can be done.
